My sister made over 50 quarts of apple butter, apple sauce, and canned apples for apple pies. I cannot tell you how many bushels of apples my husband and I peeled for her so she could can them. My sisters and brother-in-law picked, my hubby and I peeled them, and Diane cooked and canned them. She makes the best apple butter and applesauce I have ever had. Yummy Yummy!!!!
Hello to all C4J members...it is wonderful to share our love of puzzles and apples that if one believes one a day can keep the doctor away. This is breast cancer awareness month, while having our apple, lets grab a friend and go get a mammogram this too can save a life, take it from one who is a 4 year & 7 month survivor, only a mammogram saved me, it was one of those that self-exam would have been too late. So please everyone do the smart thing and have it done, as uncomfortable as it is the alternative is worse take it from a double radical mastectomy survivor. If you are already getting yours, find someone who isn't and needs some moral support because they are afraid, as women we should all help each other!!!!! Please don't forget to warn the men in your lives as they aren't exempt either. On a happier note lets puzzle.
Good on you, Tutudiane - may you have a healthy and joy-filled life from now on!
