Free online jigsaw puzzle for adults and kids of a street leading to a walkway in Puerto de Mogan on the island of Gran Canaria. The picturesque walkway has arches with beautiful flowers.
Pixi and Joyce. I looked this up not expecting SO many pictures. It was great. It was late so when I have time I am going back and have a good time looking at them. Thanks for writing all about it.
I love it, too. Let's book a virtual tour. I'll look up the best time for weather and we can meet on this walk. I'll get back to you all. Who else is interested?
Wishing you all flights of fancy.
Pixiepixil..........I am too tired to walk after cleaning up the leaves......

I love virtual tours! I can virtually do and see all the fun things I could never do or see in real life. Sign me up for the scuba diving and a long stroll through the botanical gardens! And some fun places to shop...I'm tired of doing all my shopping online...

Welcome aboard, Joyce. So far it looks like it's just you and me. That's okay. We'll have a blast.

I don't know if you plan to fly or cruise but it's fly for me. Let's book whatever to get there the week after July 4th. (don't want to miss the fireworks.) We can meet the day after we arrive--let's say arrival is July 11 and we meet where this puzzle shows on the 12. We'll find a restaurant and get to know each other better over lunch. How does that sound?

Sounds like a good plan! Wow! I just looked up Gran Canaria online, and it's just chalk-full of fun stuff to see, do, and eat! In our excursions I want to include the painted caves, and Teheda. By the way, when I take a virtual tour, I wear my virtual body: young, fit, and healthy! So I can go anywhere, not restricted by my wheelchair!

I have feet that don't go out of joint and a stomach that lets me enjoy all the local cuisine.
You found painted caves? That sounds fantastic!
I'm up for that for sure.

You are so lucky to be able to walk! I used to go backpacking with 80 pounds on my back, and now I can't walk 10 feet without my body collapsing. I can still eat tho'. I'm not supposed to, but I do! I really don't care for seafood, but since this an island, I guess I'll have to at least try to eat some. I bet they have some amazing recipes for fresh fish.
The painted caves are from the original inhabitants of the island. In order to preserve them, the only way people can see them is by a pre-scheduled guided tour. The tourism guide that I looked at online had a lot of "don't miss" destinations, and I looked at Teheda because it was listed under sweets! They grow sugar cane and almond trees there, and they make several local specialties that sound fantastic. They mention several good shopping areas, too, which is another one of my guilty pleasures.

Hi Joyce. Well I like art museums so that would be an intown thing for me and I like interesting architecture so getting a pass for the hop on hop off bus would work too. But after that I would love this Ayagaures Electric Bike Tour with Lunch. Google images of this place. It's gorgeous and since we are virtually young again I will have the strength and energy for an all day biking excursion. I used to spend a lot of time biking to see scenery. It's the best way to see it and since the bikes are electric there should be little strain.

Oh, that sounds fantastic! The weather there is supposed to be nearly perfect all the time, so the electric bikes would be so much fun! Then one of the days we need to find an elegant spa and get pampered to our hearts content. I assume our budget is virtual, too!

What else? We're virtual billionaires. In fact that being so I'll jet in and out on my own private jet just like Airforce One. Never mind the dinky stuff.

Sorry I haven't replied yet, but I'm exhausted! The last few days have been full of luncheons, window shopping in my wheelchair, MRI, birthday party for my 40yr old son, party planning for a baby shower and a graduation party for #2 grandson....I'm exhausted just typing it all out! Maybe tomorrow I'll be up to finding ways to spend those billions!

Happy birthday to your son and congratulations to grandson #2. Things do seem to come in feast or famine mode. I hope your MRI gave you good news.

Thank you, Pixi. You are so right. In our family May and December are wild and crazy! This morning's agenda is baby shower planning with my granddaughter. Then with her help, house cleaning and shopping. Since I can't do any of these things by myself, I feel very blessed when I can get someone to help!
Wishing you all flights of fancy.
