Someone said regarding a similar highway, "don't run out of gas here. "
Wise words!
BTW, is there anyone else here who just works puzzles for relaxation and doesn't bother racing the clock? I do them as I eat snacks, pet my dog, answer the phone, and a lot of other stuff. Any one? Anyhow, I was built for comfort, not speed!

I got a wonderful son and daughter that have helped me

Dbnc2, you and I have got to stay on our feet! I fell too about 3 yrs. ago and got a compression fracture of my L2 vertebra. My son came from Calif. for a few days to help me get organized. Aren't we lucky to have offspring to take care of us? It is a 600 mi. round trip for my son so I don't get to see him as often as I'd like.

I don't race the clock.....love to do the 500 and 1000 ones on save..those take days..love this site
Looks like the road leading out of Kayenta, AZ, heading North for Monument Valley.
El Capitan would be the spire on the right side of the road...an awe inspiring sight and where they made a gazillion westerns.
Continuing past Monument Valley is where (i believe) Forrest Gump got a little tired (stopped running) and went home.
Just beyond the az/ut border is Mexican Hat where a flat rock rests on top of a round boulder. Odd looking.
