We are in our Spring at the moment, opposite to your seasons and headed for summer. Our Christmas is always a very hot day, took me a while to get used to a cold Christmas when I lived in Canada and the USA. Hugs.
My kind of place. I'd love one in my back yard. My son used to live across the street from a really big one that the city used for power. It was really smart the way some of the water was diverted for the turbines and the falls themselves left pristine.
I coud never go back there because my son died on Oct. 19, 2014 in that apartment.
I pretty much avoid all the places I went with him and his daughter. It doesn't leave much around here to enjoy.
Wishing you places that lift your hearts.
So sad t hear about the terrible mass killing in Las Vegas. There is a celebrity who suggested that these kinds of things didn't happen until people were given anti-depressants and I wonder if that could be true.
Smile time - A small boy, repeating the Lord's Prayer one evening, was overheard: "And forgive us our debts as we forgive those who are dead against us."

Yes Orinoco, we have been getting it on our news as well. Prayers for Spain and all those affected by the turmoil. Hugs.

I have not heard anything about Spain. What ever the situation, God will always win in the end.

God bless Spain. May peace and freedom reign.
I also have heard nothing about Spain as I prefer to be an Ostrich and hide my head in the sand about things I cannot fix. However, I believe the above prayer is suitable for any situation in any country. God bless you also, Orinoco.

It must not be on US news...Just what IS happening in Spain? I'll add it to my prayers, but I'd like to know anyway...

Orinoco who lives in Spain can fill it in for you, but I gather that there is too much spending and not enough to spend and the country is going broke and people are protesting. Maybe Orinoco can explain it better than I can. Hugs.

It's a violent crack down against a referendum vote on Catalan independence.

I have heard something about Spain going broke. I am not sure of the details.

The violence is not in crackdown (suddenly the 900+ "wounded" touted in certain media are down to 10), but in the illegal situation being tolerated by corrupt politicians and the false news reporting. Spain is not "going broke" either.

Thanks orinoco for clearing that up, I knew you would know better than anyone else what the true situation is. Hugs.

Thanks, orinoco. I guess the whole world is going crazy. No matter where you go, it seems every Commandment is being broken. With all the false media reports, no one knows WHAT to believe. Sad...
