Use to take it w/camping with our kids, one of the few of those type I played. Usually if a ball was coming at me I just ducked....

Me and my mom used to play badminton but when the birdie flew through the air the bats would chase them and swoop down at us. Many times they took the birdie...we let them have them.

Thanks and yet very true. Those bats used to chase me round the yard then I stopped being out there at dusk. Bats terrify me. I'm thankful we didn't live out there in that part of the country very long. Whew....Hugs to all!
I loved playing badminton in school. It was so much easier to return the shuttlecock than a tennis ball. The games seemed to go more smoothly, as players did not have to be particularly athletically inclined to enjoy the game.
I could never get these birdies to fly anywhere near where I wanted them to go. I could never get volley balls or ping pong balls or any other type of sports equipment to go where I wanted it to go, either.
May your birdies fly as straight as a homing pigeon.
"my dog minton ate two shuttlecocks
Bad Minton Bad Minton! "
"Q: What do you call an elephant that doesn't matter?
A: An irrelephant."
Boom boom
Good night and God bless. Hugs.
