I don't do Halloween anymore. Just put up a few autumn decorations and that is about it. Just can't get into any holidays anymore.

Mamag I'm so sorry the holidays are so difficult. I had a dear friend named Kay who passed away a couple of years ago and her husband David was, of course, devastated. When we visited him he said he just wasn't going to put up a Christmas tree or do anything (he and his wife loved Christmas) for the holidays and I asked him if he would put up even a small tree in her honor and memory. He sent me a picture after that new year of the small tree that he had set up and said a little prayer in her honor and told me that he was glad he'd done it. I pray that God gives you strength, comfort and peace.

Thank you my dear friend. My sisters and I are planning a Thanksgiving Breakfast instead of a big dinner. I will probably have to work anyways. It's Christmas I am concerned about; I might do what your friend Kay's husband did. The only tradition I will not break is going to the candle vigil
at church and putting up Jake's Nativity set that I had for a great many years. He loved that set and for the past 10 years I put that up just for him. But whatever the days bring, I know that I have a wonderful family and super great friends that will help me and others in the same situation as me, especially those other 2 women who also lost their husbands this year as well as those who have lost their brothers and sisters. We have had about 7 deaths since Feb.

One of our grandsons is named Jake. God bless you mamag and all of those who have lost loved ones.
It was a cute puzzle, elijah13! And I like the Halloween rhyme. I have always loved, "When something wicked comes this way, All the dogs begin to bay"!
I've never done much for Halloween
