Lol - I wonder if people know about the Brazilian widow spider. Often found in South America but they can hide in a bunch of bananas. This spider is so toxic that you can be gone in about 30 minutes. One produce grocery clerk saw something while working. He was putting the bananas up on the table. The called an entomologist - bug expert. The clerk was informed the danger of this spider.

Holy Cow, that was a hard one- 192 classic. I'm not overly fond of bananas except with chocolate ice cream, chocolate pudding or on a peanut butter sandwich!

I agree! This puzzle was difficult! Took me much longer than usual. I try to do a puzzle in 30 min. or less but this one took almost 45! I still love bananas!

I'm with you I eat one banana and one apple a day. I love that Nutella. Kind of pricey but so goood! I will enjoy the day despite the rain since it is helping melt the snow we still have in piles. Thanks all!

Spread Nutella on a tortilla and wrap it around the bananas and you have a portable breakfast

Makes me hungry for a peanut butter and banana sandwich, preferably on Trader Joe's English Muffin bread --- but they stopped ordering it, and I haven't been able to find a replacement. It made some of the best-tasting toast on the planet. Any other banana favorites out there?

I can sympathize, LuvWesterns. Every time I hit the grocery store I hold my breath they are still carrying the things I depend upon. I'm supposed to watch fats and WalMart carried a fat free pepper jack cheese for years. Suddenly they stopped and nobody else has it either.
With fat free anything being mostly tasteless you would think companies would put out varieties that are flavored!

Oh, yes, Luvswesterns - I go bananas for bananas, have one every day. I like porridge cooked with raisins, dollop of plain yoghurt on top, milk and a sliced banana...yum! Great way to start the day :-))

Elvis Pessley's fav was peanut butter, mayonaise and sliced bananas on white bread. One of my favs too. Must be a Southern thing.

I have one every-other day -- plus a B-12 supplement every day -- or I get horrible leg cramps. These two things keep them at bay. Seems like some of the meds I need deplete what these give back. So happy to have found the combo, and thrilled that bananas are one of my favorite fruits! Liked your porridge / raisins / banana / yog / milk combo! Sounds ummmmm good. Totally healthy and luscious! G'day to you, jiggler, and a happy one, too!

And g'day to you, LuvsWesterns! Where are you from - I see that you speak "downunder"!!!!!

Don't know if you're old enough to remember the Crocodile Dundee movies, or the ad campaign a few years ago for "downunder" which ran here in the U. S. A., But most of us resonate to that wonderful "g'day mate! " Greeting. I live in Banning -- a medium sized southern California town on Interstate 10 -- at the top of the San Gorgonia Pass, between the Los Angeles Basin and the Mohave Desert. So, how 'bout you?

Hi, LuvsWesterns - I'm in New Zealand to the east of, but quite separate from, Australia. Came here from England in 1959, so I'm thoroughly Kiwi now - and definitely old enough to remember Crocodile Dundee!!! I've only been overseas once since I came here: went by bus from LA to San Diego for a couple of nights. It was H. O. T!!!!
