What a magnificent animal. Our county has an increasing number of Amish farms, and thus the appearance of draft horses in the previously fallow fields. They are the only ones that appear to be able to make a profit in farming. The lack of taxes required and the simple way they live makes this possible, as it did for our ancestors. I am glad to see the barns and houses repaired and the land farmed again. They are good neighbors, but a little skittish.
This is the season of forgiveness, which is often hard to do. I found this quote "I never regret forgiving the person who caused me pain, which gave me relief I never thought I could have." Erika Jones
We should all try to forgive the slights of daily life and rejoice in the love that surrounds us.
The power of forgiving those who we perceive as people who purposefully did us wrong benefits the forgiver far more than anyone else. Most of the time the person we blame does not even remember the situation as we do. The person who usually suffers from unforgiveness is they who believe they have been wrong. Letting it go is so freeing.
God bless you all with a good night's rest and and a refreshing start tomorrow.
