This is only 1 of the 93 covered bridges in Indiana. Just northwest of this one (in Parke and Putnam Counties) there are a combined total of 66 covered bridges.

Wow had no idea there were that many covered bridges in Indiana. Would love to see them. Are you close to any of them?

Only to a couple of them. One year my husband and I drove to Parke County and saw 30 of the 32 there.

A covered bridge! How delightful! In Indiana, where I love there a festivals celebrating them! I have never been to one, but would like too! I find them interesting!

The person who finished the inside of this bridge was an undercover agent. But he made us beam when the job was completed. Or he could have been a dentist just doing more bridge work.

Guess he knows the drill--see what the xrays in-decay-t then give the patient something filling. But to cobble my way back from this most excellent segway, the builder of such a bridgework saw a need and nailed it down.
