When my brother-in-law built his house in eastern central Florida and had poured the driveway, he saw bear tracks and what looked like panther tracks. He also had wild pigs, alligators, otters, a lot of hawks and an occasional eagle.
We have been getting a lot of black bears here in the east side of central Florida....we even had one go into a large hospital to check things out.....he left on his own but not without leaving lots of scratch marks on the walls.......
Nlbuchanan, it is nice to know I am not the only person who likes to see words corrected. Notice I said 'person who'. I go nuts, 'internally', about the use of 'that' after a person. 'That' refers to objects, not people. I don't say much about it because it isn't hugely important. I know that language changes all the time, but people are not 'thats'. I'm being picky and someone will find something wrong with this comment, so feel free to say so. I think I love the comments more than the puzzles. It's taken me awhile to feel comfortable with everyone.
I don't think you're picky at all. I was an English major/English history major in college, and it truly irks me when words are misused. The worst for me, though, is wrong punctuation, especially apostrophes. Sallywon and nlb, I'm right there in your camp!
he still wants somebody to help him down
did it as a mystery
kinda looks like he's scared
