I once worked with a gentleman who snacked on bell peppers. We worked in an office with cubicles, about 100 of them, so the space above our desks was open air. If I had to go back to him, I could find him by the pepper smell! lol His breath was always so fresh.
I cannot stand peppers. They give me migraine headaches just from smelling them. There s a chemical in them that triggers the migraines. YUCKY!!!!!

I'm born and raised in the South and I can't stand okra in any form, especially boiled/stewed which makes it slimy. Yuk. Now, good cornbread, that's a different story. I make some really good cornbread!

I love okra! We do not boil it in Greece..we make a stew with tomatoes and onions, some people add potatoes and/or chicken..my mom told me to put some vinegar in the okra, and it's not so slimy...what I hate is cauliflower and broad beans...

LOVE GRITS! We especially love cheese grits. They're great with fish, pork chops, ham, steak...well, lots of things.

I think I liked grits when I was really little but as I grew, I started to dislike the texture. I don't like the texture of oatmeal either but I'm having to eat oatmeal now so I'm trying to put it in stuff to disguise the taste and texture.

Oh and I've never had okra but I've always been afraid to try it. I love peppers!
These are the skinniest bell peppers I have ever seen. I am used to round peppers. Anyway, I do like them. They belong in macaroni salad, meatloaf, stuffed with rice and hamburger etc. I have even eaten them "raw", but a little bit goes a long way.
