If they ever invent the transporter from Star Trek I'll meet you. Could use a nice quiet walk on the beach today to settle my soul. Not looking forward to the summer ending is why I think.

I am sending you a heartfelt hug to help you feel better for whatever you are going through. I miss the beach because I live in Arizona now. I love the sound of the ocean and there is something soothing about the sound of the waves. God bless you.

Where in AZ? My parent used to live in Sierra Vista.
(They are deceased) I used to go see them for a week in the summer. I know the Tucson Art Museum, Tombstone and Bisbee. Love Sabino Canyon. Went up Mt. Lemon. Visited my brother who now lives outside Phoenix. Been to Sedona 3x and who doesn't love that? and Flagstff and GC.

I live in Tucson! I would like to visit Sedona. I have only driven throught it but it is beautiful. I have been hiking in Sabino Canyon and I like it there very much. There are a lot of bicycle paths around town and eventually I would like to buy a bicycle and do some riding. Ha Ha, I hope it is true that a person does not forget!! It has been a long time since I rode a bike. Do you live near a beach? Have a great day!

If you count a very small beach on a very small lake it is a mile walk from home. Years ago we spent many days there taking my son swimming. Not at all like the ocean--no waves.
I have 3 bikes and they all have flat tires. I'd like to trade them in for one good one that's easy to pedal. When we were first married and still lived on LI we lived in Long Beach which had a long boardwalk where I'd ride. There's a path along the Hudson River about a ten minute drive from the house but it's hot and boring. I haven't ridden in years.

That Hudson River path is near our present house.
There are no bike paths locally (the one that's a 10 minute drive is across the Hudson River)and we have no sidewalks where I live so although bike racers sometimes go by mostly it's too dangerous with all the traffic and few people bike where I am.
There are two Bells Beach's in Australia one in Queensland and one in Victoria, so not sure which this one is.

"Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence." —Aristotle
Either way, it's beautiful. I always feel better at the beach.

Aussie, I've got to get a good map so I can see the wonderful sites your country has to offer. Did you figure out which Bell's Beach our jigsaw is from? Was Bell an important figure in your history? Hugs, as always.

BayGrannie - I will have to do some research. I did Google Bells Beach for images and found quite a few but with a little more time I am sure I can pinpoint which beach this is. You made me laugh with your comment re Aknan. It will be the beginning of our Spring on 1 September, and this year I plan on spending more time enjoying this beautiful island on which I live. Hugs.
