What a shock! We woke up this a.m. and found out we slept thru a tornado that did a lot of damage in Monterey, Tn., 10 miles from us. We feel so blessed!
Wanted to let ya'll know that my father-in-law passed away 1:30 this morning. He was 90 years old and fought a tough battle but God took him in the end. He is now with his wife, son, grandson, and all of brothers and sisters. He was the oldest living relative on that side of the family. Now my oldest son has the reins. Please keep my family in prayers as we face another loss in less than 8 months. My oldest granddaughter is taking this hard as he and she were very close.
May God hold him close as your father-in-law adjusts to the beauty and peace of Heaven. And my prayers for all of you, too - that hole in your heart will fill with happy memories and you will smile at them again.
