Interesting how they did the flare-up frosting on the side of this cake. A shame to cut into it...right? A lot of sweetness going on there.

Dbnc, I have to agree with you - someone went hog-wild on the decorating and there are just too many elements that don't mesh well. Of course, I'm not a cake-eater and don't much like icing, so you can call me prejudiced against it! But it is for a seven-year-old....
