Hi Micki! I know what you mean, I love black cats too. They are so regale, noble and so loyal in personality. Would love to get another one someday, probably in the fall. I lost my Tuxbaby a few years ago, miss her so much. She knew my feelings before I did, hugged me when I was sad and stayed by my side when I was sick. I have her picture on my fridge; have all 4 of my furgirls' pictures on my fridge. Miss her a lot. She was a gentle soul. :) >^-^< Have a great day. :)

You are a cat person like me tomandray. My Calico is the same way as your Tuxbaby was. The few times I've been in bed sick all day, my Callie never leaves my side. She even has her own pillow next to mine and know the difference too. Gotta love our babies, and bless your gentle soul too!

Hi Micki, Yes I am a cat person. Have had cats most of my life, starting at age 7 and continuously since 1983. They are such wonderful companions. Miss my 4 furgirls. My Tux and Spots both had their own "people" pillows on my bed and knew their bedtime, automatically went on their pillow. Such smart girls. They were both from the same clowder of cats in the town I used to live in up in CT. It was a collage town, lots of stray cats around in the late spring. :( I used to feed about 17 cats at any given time. It was tough on these poor cats. >^-^< Have a good day Micki. :)

I like animals but had a cat that didn't like me. One min. she was affectionate and the next time I pet her she'd hiss at me. All I had to do was get out tuna or cat treats and she'd come running meowing.
A black cat crossing your path hasn't always meant bad luck---in ancient Egypt, it was good luck!
