We are in flood warnings right now. More rain until tomorrow. I have been listening to the tornado reports and as of last night, 19 have been confirmed dead and so many more are missing. We will keep praying for all those who have been hit by these storms. The loss is so devastating. One whole town has been completely wiped out. This has been so hard.
We are also in flood and tornado warnings, I'm in south Ga.
I've been keeping up with the weather and tornado news, to have a loved one "missing or dead" is just the worst I can imagine.Bless their hearts! Well the wind is picking up and the thunder is getting closer. Every one take care. May God take you of you all!

I will beseech the heavens to protect your lives as property is not the most valuable thing. Not we don't need our house and stuff we have but may everyone be safe from harm. Dear God protect all and send your angels to comfort them in their need. Amen.

We have had the first day of 5 days of rain so we'll see how we fare as flooding. But I just ask one thing of you and that is to stay safe, please.
And for those who have been hit by these tornadoes, God bless them.

Prayers are with the families who lost love ones and their entire home and contents. So very sad. I live in Florida and hurricane season is almost here. Always concerns. Just wish we could know and help those in need at this time. My closet is full of tooooooooo many clothes and I could donate clothing, men and women. Was this storm near you?

We are having a lot of rain right now, we are undern flash flood watches. when I took my grandkids to school this AM I saw a car hit some large puddles of water on the road, scary, they almost lost control! when I go to get the kids out of school, I'll have to be very careful, precious cargo, you know.
I hope everyone in this mess is doing OK and is safe.

It has been a while since this storm and I just now read all my messages.........didn't realize I had answers but my prayers is thanks to those who were protected and pray for the families who lost homes, material things, and love ones. We are living in the last days and these are signs of the times. Lets all learn to lean on Jesus and trust him as our personal savior. Ask God to save you, ask forgiveness for your sins, live for Christ, attend a bible believing church, learn the bible and you will have a home in heaven. God bless you all.
Goodness - reading the comments makes me realise how blessed we are in NZ - thoughts and prayers with you all - those twisters look such terrifying things and do so much damage.Be safe.
Good morning- I have a goose standing in my maple tree. Must not have laid eggs yet as they spend most of the day flying around and wandering in the pasture. Sounds good to me.
Small town close to me has "Tulip Time" Lots of Dutch in this area. Always many tulips and an abundance of good things to eat.
There's a tulip festival nearby but it's for the late bloomers in May.

This one, Pella, Iowa, starts tomorrow. I'll probably wait until the first of next week to go and see them. Can't do with all the walking and the crowds anymore.
Have a good weekend.

I know. My feet go out of joint so I need several pairs of shoes if I plan any lengthy foot trodding. I just bought expensive hiking boots for vacation. Even so I had to put in heel cushions.
Lovely tulips. Mine are almost open. Supposed to have rain this week almost every day. That should prolong the bloom time. :-)
I used to have a book called a child's garden of verses with beautiful flower pictures and a poem to go with each one. I remember one was a bleeding heart but I don't think any were tulips. They missed a wonderful flower.
May your gardens be a refuge from all your cares.
I have a bleeding heart plant...it is so easy to grow...I always love tulips in the spring

My favorites are the multicolored ones like the parrots but some of the softer ones like Mentons are also wonderful. I have perennials that are red and yellow and came with the house but I never really liked that combination. Still I'm happy for anything that comes up every year.
