Hi there everyone. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all. I live in Northwest Washington State. We rarely get snow here, about 30 miles north of Seattle, anymore, but I understand there is snow South and East of where I live, at least 60 to miles away and farther. We get lots of rain most of the year. It does get cold here, but not much below freezing too often. Now, it is colder, but not enough for snow. I wish everyone health and happiness throughout the next few days and into next year and on. Take care.
37 here in Moneta, VA. This is about right until next week when it will be back near 70. No white Christmas for us.

Your Christmas will be a teensy bit cooler than ours; we're forecast for 82 on Christmas.

So glad it was 52 as the heat here in Cape Coral since last March has been awful!
Well, it's 20 degree where I live in Indiana USA. I can't seem to get warm. I have my furnace running plus my fireplace. I sure hope I don't get the nasty cold germs flying around. I went shopping yesterday and it was so cold and windy. I don't think I've warmed up since.
Put a scarf around your neck. Although I'm heat intolerant every now and then I'll get a chill and having a warm scarf around my neck cuts the chill.
Also, be sure to wear socks and shoes inside. I know that sounds like a silly thing to say but I don't like shoes and I have to remind myself in cool weather to make sure I've got socks on. (Course socks work in reverse too; if you're hot, take your socks off.)

Yes, it is cold here too, but finally today above freezing--and it is expected to be above all this week. I think we got our Christmas snow in Nov, didn't we? But I can't get warm easily either, so I'm glad of the warm-up.
Very unseasonable here in England - forecast for this afternoon is 13/14C with 12C overnight - definitely 'not right' for this time of year.
I actually had to chase a BEE out of the shop where I work a couple of days ago ;).
Hope everybody is 'getting on' well with Christmas preparations - I'll be putting my Christmas Tree up later this afternoon; probably play some Christmassy music to help the work along ;).
I have got spring bulbs flowering just outside Liverpool. To tell the truth I am getting very frightened by this wrong weather. It's all happening, isn't it? Maybe now ALL governments will realise our planet is in bad trouble. They keep saying keep warm...here I sit in a sleeveless T-shirt!! Nice cooling picture anyway!! Love and Best wishes to you all at this happy time. xx

It has been so warm in upstate NY that I passed a forsythia blooming as I came home from a movie with my husband. Two rosebushes in the yard still have all their leavs and a quince has a bud ready to open.

Nanny and pixi, the odd weather is due to an El Nino. El Ninos and La Ninas are natural weather extremes.

Hello Nannynoonoo - I'm just outside Liverpool as well, in Prescot :-D! Whereabouts are you? We could be neighbours - what a coincidence ;)!
