Weather is supposed to get bad by mid morning so my husband is off to early Mass. He likes me to practice singing while he's out so no time for puzzling now. Got to flex my vocal chords!
Wishing those of you with bad weather a happy "stay at home" day.
We have had great weather here so far this winter, also fewer earth quakes each day & fewer tornados this year.

You folks in Oklahoma deserve a break. So glad to hear things were better this past year, catlady.

Our dog was from a breeder in Oklahoma.

Seems to getting better since USGS has gotten in shutting some oil production activities in certain areas, but the fewer tornados were just lucky weather.

What kind of dog do you have? Haven't had a dog for sometime, just cats, had both several dogs over the years, usually just strays that adopted us, same w/the cats. We are down to only 1 very old cat. Hubby says no more, will see.

We got snow squalls this evening. My lungs started twitching this morning so I stayed in. I wish I could hear you sing pixipixil.

Thanks, Olamae. I wish I could have sung for you when my voice was peak. It's definitely past prime now but people still stop me at church to tell me they like it. If I could depend on my health I'd try to get some sort of job but I can't.

Catlady we had a beloved spoiled sheltie. I'm looking to get a new puppy in the next few months. Ugh! We lost ours a week before Thanksgiving. Miss her greeting us at the door when we arrived home.

I had one in the late 60's & early 70's...she was so good. I still think of her, "Boots". Great Dogs! Lost her just before our first child was born.

She was a female sable. So sweet and would always follow us around. We lost her one week before Thanksgiving. She was in perfect health. We took to an ER vet. They said she was treatable and then passed the following day. We still don't really know what happened to her. Ugh!

So sorry about your pet, carol. It's rotten that it happened right before Thanksgiving. I hiope you find a really wonderful new pet.
This is such a cute puzzle! My husband told me his mother loved cardinals and birds in general. One of the things he placed near grave was a birdhouse. I think that was such a loving thing he did for her!
Q: What is green and pecks on trees?
A: Woody the Wood Pickle.
Q: Why does a stork stand on one leg?
A: Because it would fall over if it lifted the other one.
LOL - good night and God bless. Hugs.
