I'll gladly join you for tea. We're getting lots of rain here too although our weather is trying to warm up.
Good Bless and Hugs to you!

Thank you for the invitation.
Yesterday reached 71F. Today it snowed. I hate climate change.

Coffee in the morning, afternoon, and decaf green tea before bed. We are getting some cool weather today after hitting 81 here in VA. yesterday.

We are also having cool weather [44* F] and lots of rain, but it is causing flooding near here.

Would love to have afternoon tea with you, aussie! I'll bring some "fairy cakes" - light shortcake with a sprinkle of powdered sugar. Good for dipping.

Always start the day with breakfast and a pot of tea that lasts 'til noon's lunch. Then a jolt of strong coffee around 2 PM. The coffee's actually medicinal. My ophthalmologist suggested it to help keep the pressure down in my eyes since I stopped using drops. Pressure's been good for the last two years, so it may well be that the coffee is helping.
May the blessings of our Lord surround you all. Be happy! Hugs.

Caffeine can dilate blood vessels, easing the pressure, and it's also a diuretic, which also eases pressure. I've used it often for headaches, with or without aspirin.

Funny how often we see things bantered about in the media: eggs are bad, eggs are OK; coffee's bad, coffee's OK. I'm too old to worry about the long term effects of what we've eaten for years without problems. Perhaps the younger generation will eat much healthier, but I'm on the downhill slide now, so will enjoy my old pleasures and wish them well. I didn't think about it being a good headache remedy. Must try it next time. I seldom take aspirin, and some of the meds I take cause my head to ache. I just accept it as a part of life and don't over-medicate. Take care, aknan! Thanks for the input.

Ooh! Camomile tea with pumpkin muffins. It's been pretty cold here. It rained yesterday then the temp plummeted. Therewas ice on my pick-up and the door was frozen shut when I went to go to work at midnight. I work graveyard shift in a large inheated building. Brrr.

It's warming up here. Most of the snow has disappeared. Had ice jams happening a bit further northeast of here. They had to evacuate part of a town due to the threat of flooding. That was yesterday. Day before it warmed up a bit. And the day before that, Tuesday, it snowed all day! Sorry, Mr. Groundhog, you said 6 more weeks of snow!

LuvsWesterns, I agree with you. They do these studies on people to try to steer them towards things they want people to buy. They find a bunch of people and they purposely exploit those whose body chemistry responds a certain way to different foods to get their so-called statistics. Every food item affects different people in different ways. What benefits one person may be harmful to another person and in most cases, it's simply a matter of moderation. So I agree, people should just enjoy life and enjoy their food especially if you've lived long and aren't suffering.

Reverend Graham was an awesome person. I remember watching him with my grandmother on T.V. years ago. He was such a great speaker. Reverand Graham will be truly missed.

I've been to a couple of his services when he'd be up here in Toronto. My Mom took me to one. This was when I was a teen. The other time was with my youth group at the church. He really made an impression on me. I still remember to this day. And yes, he will be missed. He's with his beloved Ruth now and that's the best thing.

I received a new Keurig beverage maker for Christmas from my son and daughter-in-law. I keep lots of K-Cup of tea - caffeine-free, with caffeine, unsweetened, unsweetened, hot chocolate, and coffee for those who want it.
The tea collection includes: peppermint, Lemon, orange-spice, southern sweetened iced tea, apple-cinnamon, English Breakfast tea, and some others.

My favourite on our Keurig is the London Fog tea. It's a sweet one. Otherwise, I put the milk in first and have either an Irish Breakfast (bit stronger tea) or an English Breakfast (crisper, but not as strong). Green tea, yup. Hot chocolate too. And a lovely blend of dried fruit to steep for a lovely hot drink. But it'll be good for summer when it's been cooled off and then I'll drain it. Popped in as I won't be participating when I come due for renewal. Consider this a farewell. Sent with love and hugs...from afar. Thank you for your support, each one. You are a special community and will be fondly remembered. Found another couple of jigsaw site which fill my need. Take care. Sue
Cute mugs. And I could sure use a muffin right now! Hungry and too lazy to fix breakfast. Guess when I get hungry enough I will get off my lazy duff and do it, but not there yet.
God bless you all, and thank you to those who are praying for my unborn great grandson who has been discovered to have fluid on the brain.
