I got eyes checked last week
had not been seeing good for a while
thing were blury

This blame computer has a mind of its own today
i wasn't finished
i thought he would give me stronger glasses he said nothing had changed
he washed my glasses and now I see ok
now I wash them often
he said they were good for 10 more years
did I feel DUMB

I try to clean mine at least every other day. My eye doctor told me to use the original green Palmolive to use on them when they get really dirty! My eyes have not changed since I had cataract surgery that was when I was 62 now 74 almost 75. I only get new glasses when they have to many scratches on them, I can see without my glasses for distances but I find they don't get as many scratches if I wear all the time.

Oh, dbnc! Believe me, I'm laughing with you, you are laughing, right? That sounds just like something I would do! I'm glad you can see better.

I'm seeing much better since getting trifocals. I like the colors in this, although they are a bit too bright. I had to dim the screen.

Dbnc2 that cracks me up. I go through that too. I clean my glasses with solution once a week, and use the cloth daily. That helps me to see better.

Dbnc - Your computer has a mind of it's own. Maybe somethings wrong with her pc. We do scans on ours. We often will find viruses and other stuff.

Dbnc2 - it is worse when you spend time looking for something and find it in your hand!!! I've done that a few times lol. Hugs.

@ catlady: a really good trick for glasses. get a small soft (cotton) cloth and soak it with Windex. I have several that I made from Factory Cotton/muslin. can clean my glasses anywhere, anytime. ;) re-soak it whenever deeded.

Lol Taffi, I know lots of people do this. Unfortunately I cannot see unless I have them on my face heheh. Hugs.

Darski they told me not to use Windex on mine I have the ones that darken when you go outside it is not good for that it will ruin it.

I lost something and felt quite foolish. Hubby was working and arrived home. I took the car and ran an errand - we needed to go somewhere one day. I said I can't find the car keys. We looked everywhere. We finally gave up and took the car into the shop. Got a new set and then worked on. We arrived home and there was a file cabinet that was open - bottom drawer. On the top of the files were the car keys. These incidents remind me of something that was said on tv. We did you have it last - if I knew where I had it last I couldn't be looking.

Love it when an opthamologist says we need you to come in for your exam. Then you ask do I need to bring someone and they say no when you do. The nurses that are at those offices told me that they called my ins. co. regarding one visit and they asked why I was having the glaucoma test done. To make sure I don't have it.
