Hi CatLadyOKC, The only way I was able to get my mind around this puzzle was to think of it as swirls of chocolate. Only then was I able to tackle it. :))) How am I doing? Well, ok now. I had a bout with botulism. Sick for a couple of days. We went out for ice cream (the soft serve type). I bet the machines were not cleaned out correctly, or possibly the mix-in was not refrigerated correctly. In anycase, I lost 3 lbs, and am feeling better now. As far as Hockeyfan goes, she moved on Sept. 1st and is probably still quite busy settling in her new area. I have not heard from her for awhile. Miss her too. It is starting to get a bit "cooler" around here, still in the 80's but a bit dryer. We have had so much rain, and of course the humidity to go with it. On Sunday we are to see temp. drop and be dryer. Oh, Hooray! Long time waiting. :)) I'll be dragging out my long sleeve shirts pretty soon. :)) How's it going with you?

The temps are dropping today, still 80 today, but has been in the 90's last few days, should around 45 tomorrow morning, but then we go back up to more seasonal temps 70 & 60's. We have been short this month on rain, but got a nice shower overnite so don't need to water. Crickett has been feeling bad last couple of days, but is doing okay today. Think he may have had words with a cat that likes to take a short cut thru his yard. Hubby & I got flu shots this week, arm was little sore for just one day. We also stopped at our favorite breakfast place on the way back, ate too much. Decided that my best way to get even with my children and let them go thur all the stuff we need to go thru after I'm gone. A lot of it is theirs that they wanted saved. Good to hear you are feeling better.

Hi CatLadyOKC, I was bad today, we had pizza! I was so stuffed. :( Have not had pizza in a very long time, probably about 1 year. It usually does not sit right with me. But I did ok, had some probiotics before dinner. Flu shots! Have not had one in years. Last time I had one was probably 20 years ago, I was "sick as a dog" for weeks. They just don't sit right with me. Poor Crickett wants to defend his territory. Does not like stray cats roaming through his domain. KitKat is mad at me, I'm in the "Dog House". I accidentally broke her favorite water bowl today. It slipped when I was washing it out to give her fresh water. She ran behind the sofa and was sulking. We have a smaller bowl, but......just not happy with me at all. :(( I'll just have to buy her a "better" bowl. :)) Oh well. I wrote to HockeyFan again, I'll let you know if she write back. ttfn Have a great day! :)

Know how you feel about the flu shots, they used to always make me sick but my Dr. said try it again the have really made changes in them so I did last year and did not bother me at all in fact I didn't even catch a cold, so decided to get one again this year. Crickett tried to use our bed twice in the last (think he might have been having trouble with the stairs), but he does have a puppy pad in a utility tray in the bathroom upstairs so after he got shut out of the bedroom he has used it the last 2 days. Makes it much easier to clean up. Don't want a litter box upstairs since he can really scatter it all over and all but the bathroom area upstairs is carpet, also house is old enough that the bathroom are small not a lot of extra room. Guess you had better get KitKat a really nice new bowl. Aren't they funny! Let me know if you hear from HockeyFan...she needs to let us know that she is just busy not missing!

Hi CatLadyOKC, I have written to Hockeyfan a couple of times, still no reply. Then I sent her a few jokes, to liven her sprites, just in case. Still no reply. So I will just wait it out. Can't do anything more than e-mail. By the way, I'm not in the dog house anymore. I got a new bowl for KitKat, she loves it. So much nicer than the old one. She's happy kitty again. :) How is Crickett doing? Have a great evening. I have to get out into the garage and finish drying the laundry this evening. ta-ta

I got the bed changed, but sheets will go in the dryer...too much dust around here. I love the lysol fresh linen spray to the pillow & mattress get sprayed with it before I put the clean sheets back on...felt like I have walked a mile or two by the time I got done. Think he is doing better, but it not will take him to vet first of the week...he seems to feel better but still not eating as usual.

Hi CatLadyOKC, Do you have an appetite stimulator for Crickett? Or maybe his favorite fish, maybe salmon might do the trick. For KitKat, when she doesn't eat, I make some of my Salmon, just pan steamed. She loves that. Hope Crickett feel better. Have a good night. :)

Crickett is feeling better today, made several trips to the food dish, he may eat something real good one day and the next will have nothing to do with it. He is suppose to be on one of the special diets from the vet, but he will only eat the dry (not the canned) so we have to fill in with it and make sure he is still getting his medicine & fiber. Has always been a picky eater. Pretty sure he was in a fight, finally found a couple of areas and got meds on him. Not sure what the other one looks like! Normal male has to protect his domain...

Oh YES! I remember having a male cat and having him come home looking like a WWII Vet, limping. We would patch him up and back out the door for round two! He wouldn't learn his lesson. He even went looking to pick a fight with the next door neighbor's dog. One time he didn't win. That hound dog took a chunk off his leg, only then did he learn his lesson. We then had the yard fenced in and had him neutered. That made thing a lot quieter around our house. :) I had a Maine Coon (MeMe), she was on a special diet from the Vet, well that lasted all of 5 mins. She poo-pooed that idea as being a bad idea. Would not eat the food. She only loved Salmon and Shrimp and she lived to be 17! Well, I finally finished my laundry for the week. Folded and put away. Did some mending too! It's been a productive day. Going out to get some groceries. Just so love to grocery shopping. :( Have a great afternoon. :)

Our will eat the shimp sometimes, but very seldon will eat salmon, but he likes chicken very well, expecially people chicken and only the white meat. Can be a very picky eater...does not like the same thing in the same day sometimes the same week.

PS, spelling is terrible today, finger and keys are all mixed up again....

Hi CatLadyOKC, Had an off day today. Looking for some Joy......KitKat was not well today, took a nap, but must have slept too long. She didn't make it to her box in time. She was so upset, spent the rest of the evening behind the sofa. :( Sad kitty. Really got nothing done today. Husband in a bad mood. Must be one of those days. :( Good thing it's almost over. Need a break, need to getaway for awhile. May you have a peaceful evening/night. :)

Know that feeling, try to hid out upstairs on those days, yesterday was not productive for me either kept getting interruptions all day and none of them were important. Spent the morning cleaning upstair, and getting some things caught up in computer just now getting on for puzzles and it's time for lunch. Hope yours & KitKat day is better today!!! :) Think we are having Subway for supper today. No work for that...

Hi CatLadyOKC, Yes, today was a better day. Got a few things done. Got pictures done for items I am selling, did some postings. Sold an item! Ready for shipping! Made Honey Mustard baked chicken dinner with fresh asparagus. Making a creamed asparagus soup for lunch tomorrow. And tonight, making some Cranberry, apricot, apple muffins for breakfast. Done for the day! KitKat is doing good today, she had a bite of chicken, though she prefers Parmesan Chicken. >^-^< Have a great evening. :)

Hi CatLadyOKC! I wrote to you, but the post did not go through, that was on the 18th!!! :( Well, I have been working, very busy. I have not been puzzling for almost two weeks so very busy working. My hubby and I started a new business and it's taking a lot more of our time than we anticipated. We thought we would be doing this part time. But it has been doing well, better than we expected. We've been enjoying the cooler weather as often as possible. I also have quite a few projects on the back burner, sewing projects. They'll just have to sit and wait. Enjoy the evenings going for walks. Don't even watch TV that much. As for HockeyFan, have not heard from her. Don't know what happened. Enjoy the rest of your week. :) I'll try to get over here more often. :)) How is Cricket doing? KitKat is doing well a new batch of catnip came in today, she's happy. >^-^< Keep in touch. :)

Cricket is helping hubby with granddaughter '93 Camero, he is fixing somethings that have needed to be done, more cosmetic work that anything. I'm puzzling, cleaning and reading! Have eye check up on Monday, so will probably not be one much that day, usuually sleep until the dilation wears off! Had the furnace check up yesterday, so it's ready to go. Think it hit 80 today so won't need it yet, still runnin A/C. Sounds like you have been really busy! Cricket says to tell KitKat hello from us!

Hello CatLady OKC, How are you feeling after your eye appointment? I would love to see Cricket helping your hubby fix a Camero. Bet he's handy with the tools. :)) That would be a great picture on Facebook. KitKat says hello for Cricket. Hubby and I had our 33rd wedding anniv. on Friday. Went out to dinner at our favorite restaurant, then did a bit of shopping. It was a beautiful night, cool, breezy, we had a great time. Been busy over the weekend with sales and listings, sold a few items. Doing good. Monday was wrapping, packing and shipping. All evening long was correspondence. Keeping busy. Tues. is grocery shopping day. I so love grocery shopping. :( Well, that is all for now, keep well.

Eye appt. went fine, came home took nap and most of the dilation was gone. Best new was did not have to get new glasses this time. Funny though when we got home hubby took his off to wipe his eyes & the nose piece fell off, so he went back to get it fixed. Cricket & hubby will be working on the car again today, temp here is wonderful only 57 this am, is has been in the upper 80's & lower 90's but now is back to the 60's & 70's plus low's in the upper 40's. Sound like you had a good anniversary. Need to go to library later today, but that is just a short trip. Will probably go to grocery tomorrow, just need a few things so hubby may go without me, yeah! Cricket says hello to KitKat and all! Good to hear from you!

Hi CatLadyOKC! Just a quick hello before Halloween. Please take care of Cricket this Halloween. Keep him in, it's not safe for any cat or dog this week. There are some crazy folks out there that would not be kind to our furry kids. Cricket would be a lot safer in the house. Crickett doesn't like any holidays, you can't get him out of the house! 4th of July and New Years are the worst there are noisey things out there.
Have a good Halloween! I take my donations every month now days it is easier, but the library is not far, used to save up and take all at once but found it is easier to take them as soon as I'm done with this months since I need to get books to read! Must have done more reading this month this was second trip to get books, up to 20 this month. Crickett wants you to tell KitKat to be sure and stay safe from all those things that go bump in the night! Sounds like you are very busy, things have been somewhat quiet here this week for a change!

Hi CatLadyOKC, We had an uneventful day for Halloween. Went out to dinner. There were no ghosts or goblins at our door, we're at the end of the road. KitKat was good, stayed behind the sofa most of the evening. It was a very quiet day and evening. Take care. :)

We had 1 goblin, very early & very young! Crickett spent the evening on his couch upstairs in the sewing room! We had junk food; corn dogs, pork & bean & root beer floats at home!
We are almost at the end of our street, only a 1 block culdesac (1st of the 4 on the end) hard to see us from the main street. House is set back further than the one next to us. Turned the heat on this am, down to 30's here this am. Still have not had a freeze here.

Hi CatLadyOKC, We have also turned on our heat. We're not in the 30s or 40s, but we're cold just the same, put on my sleeper socks. I washed KitKat's comforter yesterday, she's using it today. She's nice and comfy for the night. Have a great Sunday! :))
