Oh..how funny! So did I rahrah1820. I thought it was the coolest bowling bowl color ever. I was able to bowl on a league until 2005 then had to hang up my bowling shoes forever!

It's been about 3 years for me, and then it was just a few games after about 20 years of nothing! lol I miss it a lot, but my back and hand (arthritis) don't mind that I stopped at all!
Too true. At least you could blow bubbles long after the taste was gone. My mother didn't let me chew bubble gum. I was allowed regular gum, tho and chewed all the time. Once I chewed a piece of gum so long it literally fell apart.

I had that happen once too and you're the first person I've ever seen who could relate to that experience. It was the oddest thing, one second I was chewing as usual and the next it just stopped being gum.

I stopped chewing gum many decades ago. I would bite off little pieces because it was suggary and eat them. In only a short while - no gum!

Once I got TMJ (where your jaw will lock in position and is always paining you), I stopped chewing even the occasionally that I allowed myself.

I had that. Turned out one of my teeth had cracked in half but for some reason the dentist's xray didn't pick it up. Funny it gave me terrible pain all through Lent but went away at Easter.
I don't chew gum because it pulls off my caps. My current dentist doesn't stick them on very well. My husband's just came off a few weeks ago. When mine came off he charged $80 to put it back but when his did they did it for free.?????

Reminds me of this song:
Does your chewing gum lose its flavor
on the bedpost overnight?
If your mother says don't chew it,
Do you swallow it in spite?
Can you catch it on your tonsils,
Can you heave it left & right?
Does your chewing gum lose its flavor
on the bedpost overnight?

What's the difference in age, pixi? Sometimes that is the only change. Sending you a hug.

Thanks for the hug, Taffi. Back at you with one. My husband and I are less than 2 years difference in age. My bridge was put in some years ago and fell off in less than a year. My husband's was put on recently and fell off after he had his teeth cleaned. Same for me but not on the same day. That's why I don't let them floss me.
Yup...me too zoozq. My Mom used to call me Susie-Q sometimes. Mostly it was Susie Jane and if she called me Lady Jane, I was in trouble for sure. Enjoyed this puzzle a lot.

I am always Sue. If I heard Susan, then I was in trouble. No middle name here. I still get asked what my middle initial is when filling out forms ie library People, if I didn't put it down, then I don't have one. Capisce! That always went through my head lol
can't chew it sticks to my false teeth
