Love grapes as well but don't eat them frozen. I miss huckleberries. Never had Lollieberries.

I don't eat them frozen either. I don't know what Lollieberries are. Huckleberries are great though.

Grapes are toxic for dogs. Growing up my parents sometimes gave our dog a green grape. She even ate a box of chocolate and we didn't know this was toxic as well. Hubby fell while taking the dog outside. He couldn't get up and two neighbors helped him. Now he wants me to make one neighbor brownies for her family because she helped him. He needed a chair to help get up. I was in the kitchen getting something out of the bottom cupboard and had to grab onto something.

Growing old certainly isn't easy. I learn that more and more every day. Helpful neighbors are a Godsend.
Just thinking of Barbaranne today. Every time I click the "like" icon, I think of her. God bless you Barbaranne, you bless so many others, every single day.
Well said rahrah and I know you must be truly blessed with your encouragement to others on here. Loving hugs.

:) sounds ike a mutual admiration society of two hehehe - hugs.
Freeze them feisty - they last a lot longer. I also do this with milk. I bought the big container of milk but it would go off before I used it all. So have some small plastic containers with lids and fill them to a couple of inches from the top, put the tops on loosely, and into the freezer. Never have milk go bad on me now but you have to make sure you take the smaller containers out a day before you need them and put them into the bottom of the fridge. :) Hugs feisty.

You can also freeze cherries for a delicious snack. Wash, pat dry, toss in a container or plastic zipper bag and enjoy when you want. Watch out for pits, though! Blueberries freeze well, too. Raspberries just get mushy.

Was gone most of last week. Came back Thursday afternoon, spent Friday catching up. Should have a longer message for you soon!
Love grapes especially frozen - they make a nice snack.

Too much Aussie I always eat my grapes frozen, they make the most refreshing snack. I thought I was the only one that ate them like that! Started 40 years ago, after I heard about them, tried it and have only eaten them that way since. When I had the basset hounds they thought everytime I went to the kitchen that I was going to get frozen grapes, used to give them one or two, until I found out grapes are worse for dogs than chocolate. Stopped immediately. Not sure I agree with the Branden quote. All you puzzlers out there stay safe.

Morning Darambo, beautiful day here. Lots of washing to do and put things up in preparation for Anglicare who clean my floors, bath and toilet once a week. They are not allowed to move anything so have to get it all up. My back gives out so quickly that it is an all day job. Had a skin cancer cut out yesterday by my new doctor and he was brilliant. Hardly felt the needle with the anesthetic in it and did not feel him take the skin cancer off. He has sent it off but says he is sure it is benign. Hugs to you and Ed.

I did not think of freezing grapes. I always called them "Nature's candy". I love sweet grapes. :)

Never thought about frozen grapes. I'll have to try that. Seedless please. Love them all. Darambo, I know that it's a mix of news but your husband is still with you. That's the main thing. Keep on that diet. It will help him stay on top of the diabetes. Sending you hugs, for you and your husband. God's blessings be with both of you.

To all you puzzlers try frozen grapes they are fantastic. You can freeze any type. My personnel favorite are the red grapes they are normally very sweet. If you try them you will like them!! I just put them in a bowl and pop them in the freezer. Oh wash them first duh!!!!

Taffi you must have mistaken my husband for someone else. My hubby is fine, no diabetes. So very sweet of you to be concerned. Sending hugs and God's blessing back to you. Of course use seedless grapes, unless you enjoy spitting the seeds out hahaha!! ;-) Be safe Taffi and see you in the posts.

I have definitely confused you with another member. My apologies. But at least you got a hug with them!
Hubby had a Dr's appointment today and he his B/P went down to normal, his chest sounded good, and he lost 9 pounds. We are just waiting on results from some tests he had, especially for his diabetes and liver. His A1C was 10 last checkup 3 months ago. His sugar has been up a lot more than it should be. We are just praying that he is on his way to getting somewhat better. The COPD and emphysema will never improve so that and his diabetes will always be a constant battle. Just wanted to keep you updated on his condition. I am doing great so far. Just waiting to go back to school in May.
