Don't plan on EVER sewing a button on anything ever again. I'm now taking everything to a great seamstress. No more trying to find the right button, or threading a needle. My eyes and hands aren't in as good a condition as they used to be. I might as well get rid of my button box...but where to? Is there a burial place for old buttons? Just asking!
Hi everyone, hope you're having a great day! I start all puzzles by making piles of pieces that are the same color, even if it's different shades. I'll make a pile of green things, blue things, etc. Then I'll work on each pile, putting as much of that color together before moving on to another color. If I'm going to start with red, for example, I'll put every piece with even just a tiny corner of red in that pile, and put all that together as far as I can, then move to a different color.Anyone else do it that way?
I sure do! That's how my family always did puzzles when I was growing up. Each person got a different color and did their own part of the puzzle before the "final assembly! "
Not easy! Have lots of buttons and really don't know what to do with them. This was when my mother used to do lots of sewing!

Lovely quote, Elijah. And, indeed, I am very grateful to those who keep in touch and brighten my day with with a nice chat and a few laughs. Family's wonderful, but good friends are the family we get to choose. Hope your day is as beautiful as your throughs!
