Well, God put buzzards on this earth to clean up the dead bodies that litter the desert and fields. Crows fulfill this need where I live in upstate NY. They are both very useful, and get fed. Win/win.
I did some research on this bird and this variety of buzzard lives in Europe and Asia. The buzzard we are used to seeing is a turkey buzzard a/k/a turkey vulture.
Being from "my neck of the woods" and not the natural habitat of this bird I was sure it was a hawk, not a buzzard and had to google it. I was wrong. This bird is much more attractive than the limited part of the species I call buzzards. I consider buzzards (aka vultures) to be as ugly as the "grim reaper" I consider them to be.

Take care and God bless. Hugs.
God bless you all.
