A poem in my older sister school book of a camel. But a camel is bumpy, & lumph & jumpy Anything does for me. It was from the 1920's. Voice of verse.

Well, hello, Lord Snooty! Love those fluffy knickerbockers!!! I think the one-hump ones are dromedaries, two-humped are camels. They both have glamorous eyelashes, and an unglamorous habit of spitting in your eye :-D

There are one hump and two hump camels...I wonder where this one is from? I have met some in the zoo and in the city for a movie promotion. Had a hard time imitating the sound he made...I guess he was angry about something...kind of a braying sound. Fun animal anyway.
