Nanny, what makes Smarties better than M&Ms? Are they larger?

They look like Skittles to me. Smarties are flatter and not shiny! I love them ALL! trynfindit....Smarties are just tart sugar- makes you pucker! And of course, M&Ms are chocolately goodness!

Ah, thanks lydia. I'll take M&Ms over Smarties then.

Smarties for the win! Love them over the M&Ms as they're just too chocolatey. I like to get the flavour of the coating too. Do you eat the red ones last?

Sounds like Smarties are an acquired taste. :)

The Smarties candy we have here in the United States are a sweet tart type candy. The United Kingdom Smarties are more like M&M's in that they are candy coated chocolate pieces. I've never had them, but understand they are quite tasty.

M&M's are my choice (chocolate)...but since I have to watch my sugar will stay with my dk.choc.raisins...at least they have fruit in them....

Hmm, dark chocolate raisins - I hadn't thought of those. Good idea CatLady.
M&M's, Skittles, something else? That's how I'd probably pour those into a small bowl - had I took the time to pour them into a small bowl. I usually just go through the bag, so it's good that I don't buy half-pound bags.
