Don't believe I have ever seen these little animals before. Look a bit like a long nosed guinea pig.

Capybaras are found in Latin America and are a very a large rodent. They are also eaten, but these are something I had no desire to taste.

Cute little critters, though the adults aren't so very little either. Largest rodent in the world, adults weigh in between 30-66 kg. I have heard they are friendly enough that some people have successfully made them into outside pets. Others just eat them. But then in Peru a lot of people eat guinea pig, not that I ever would.
