We moved from a house where a male cardinal took a liking to our SUV mirrors. He stayed on top of the mirrors and would act like it was another bird. He stayed with us for 2 years! He was a lot of trouble since he pooped all over the mirrors. We live in Bowling Green KY.
Welcome and thank you for being the first on my list from Kentucky. We only need 7 more states represented and we will have all 50. We are up to 17 countries. It has been so much fun for me to make a log of this.

Hi Annie. I think that's great having people to state their location. I just recently stumbled in here. I'm enjoying all of the puzzles. Once again, thank you for welcoming me to the site.
Interesting bird...like the markings, but also like the all red one too.

Left you another long note today on the dice one, for some reason it is putting my notes just before your notes!
Hope you can find it again!

Hi Hockeyfan & CatLadyOKC, This is a lovely Cardinal with all it beautiful marking. I was wondering where it lives and originates from? And Globug found the answer when she Googled it. See her post if you're interested.
Have a great evening. :)

Today has been not much better, just got on finally! Cleaning downstairs took longer than expeceted and when I came back upstairs and brought my computer up it was slow, had some downloads finally got thru with them and was checking emails and my computer started with a very loud humming, turned it off and called son, he had me check all connections and turn my speakers and then bring it up again, so we did that and is now working fine. This for some reason has been how most of my days have been going....
Googled the Red-crested Cardinal and it says it is "Native to northern Argentina, Bolivia, southern Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay, the Red-crested Cardinal has been introduced to various regions of the world including Hawaii and Puerto Rico"

We see them in Hawaii; they're pretty common there, but I think they're an introduced species.
