I enjoyed this a couple of seconds ago, but upps I seem to have disapeared, just letting you know the good times we haD WHEN THESE SORT OF MERRY GO ROUNDS were about. A big thank you team for this one. next week I will be away in hospoital and when I get back to normal Iwill joining back once again..good health to all and make each day a happy one.
Santa Claus how are you doing since your hospital stay? I recently went in for a few days, and I'm doing a lot better now. I hope it's the same for you.
I ADORE carousels! Used to collect the music boxes until my home was overrun with them! They're so pretty. In Long Beach, WA there is a carousel; when I was a kid, Mom would buy me tickets for all the different rides, but I always 'had' to go on the carousel first so she could watch. Worked for me!
How's everyone of my puzzler friends this morning? It's a beautiful day, cold but nice and sunny. I could use some prayers from all of you. Both of my legs and feet are swollen and I'm on oxygen. Have to go for blood work tomorrow. Hope I can get my shoes on to go. I have Atrial fribulation. I've had it for some time now but I think it's getting worse. Thanks for letting me cry on your shoulders.
God bless you all.
Jingles prayers to you on their way. Hope blood work comes back good. Be safe.

Jingles, has your doctor given any indication if a pacemaker would help your situation? I pray that your blood work is good and that you find relief from your a-fib. (I have a pacemaker because of a burned out heart valve.)

Dear Jingles, you are such an encouragement to all of us on here, so I hope we all can encourage you. Praying for easing of the swelling and a successful outcome of your bloodwork. Loving Hugs.

Hi Jingles. I am doing pretty good. had a beautiful sermon at church today. We are studying the book Daniel. Very interesting how God uses people do His will and show faith. My boys in Sunday School are doing good. I enjoy teaching them the word of God. School is okay.I am in my last week of Theology. I love it, but it is hard. Education classes are hard. I am not used to teaching the way we were taught. This core learning is, in some ways, really ridiculous. But that is what I am going to school. teaching. I hope you have a blessed day and wonderful week. You can cry on our shoulders anytime you want. I know I have cried on people's shoulder plenty of time. God bless and take care. Prayerfully, your feet and legs will start to feel better. :)

Jingles --- what a happy name! Try to keep your feet moving, even if it is just making them go in circles (for instance when sitting with your feet up.) My prayers are for you.

I had the shingles vaccination so hopefully I'll be spared those. My mom had them and was in awful pain. Plus you had the flu as well. Yikes! Glad you're on the mend.

Will pray for you to get competent medical treatment to help alleviate the severity of your symptoms. Keep your legs up on a stool when seated. Swelling of the legs, especially when accompanied by pain, can be indicative of blood clots. Very dangerous.
That's probably the only thing I can ride anymore. It's a been years since I've been to an amusement park, cost is one reason. The last few times I went, I realized I'm no longer able to enjoy rollercoasters. There's too much jerking and bumping along for my comfort and with now having anxiety, the thrill is too much. My main thing I liked about rollercoasters was being scared but having anxiety takes the fun out of it.
Anxiety is no fun KnadineM. I have it too, especially around the Holidays and on my son's anniversary when he passed away. I can't ride any rides either because of my back and two knee replacements. I also have too many memories when he and I used to ride the Screamer. When you get an attack of anxiety, take a walk, breathe easy and relax, and pray for strength that God will get you through it. I totally understand.

I loved roller coasters when I was able to ride them - now, too much jerking for my back and neck. I don't think a roller coaster would suddenly put everything back in their proper place.
A few years ago, I went to the zoo and rode the carousel there, but the animals were too high for me to get on, so, I sat on a bench. Pretty boring compared to many of the rides I used to ride.

I agree, mamag15. My attacks of anxiety lessened one, when I removed myself from some of the things that increased my anxiety (one of them being a spiritually abusive church I used to belong to) and eventually getting back to God after my ordeal and staying in prayer. I'm sorry about your son.

Yeah, that would just take the fun out to not even be able to ride the carousel. I'm sorry to hear that.

Oh I know what you are all saying, bad back and hips keep me from all the fun rides. Just the merry go round for now, and it's the bench for me. Used to love the "Space Mountain" ride at Magic Kingdom. :( I do understand the anxiety....I get it when I'm under pressure in the kitchen. Spent to many year in various kitchens, can't take it anymore. I do walk away when it gets to be too much, and just breath. :) Have a wonderful day :)

Disneyland was my first experience with rides. My dad worked there so we went a lot until my parents split up and moved to Ohio. I didn't get to experience Space Mountain, we moved to Ohio in 73 before that was created.

Hi KNadineM, Space Mountain is my favorite ride at Magic Kingdom. It's a roller coaster in the dark! :)) It terrified my husband. He would never go on it again. He did not like being in the dark, which is what attracted me. Just not knowing the next turn was great. :)) To bad I can not longer go on it because of my back and hips. :(
Have a great day!
God bless you all.
