This looks like my "Tabby". She is my polite cat--waits for whatever she wants by just sitting by it and waiting. I have one that is my "imp"--never know what she is going to do next. Then there's my unsocial cat--hears a voice other than mine and she goes and hides.
Hi sonjat: I am really a mongrel, but my maternal Grandmother was born and raised in Switzerland, from a small Swiss farm in the mountains. She and my Grandfather settled in Vermont on a wonderful dairy farm. I loved it there as I grew up, and have always felt a special emotional pull from Switzerland. I have been there and seen the little town where Grandma lived. The town is Pohlern, on the French speaking side of Switzerland.

Hi jiggler: I have a feeling that if you had him on your lap, scratching behind his ears, that you would see that look disappear into very loud purring!!
