Also known as the Cabbage Rose, an ugly name for a lovely flower. Not as common since people stopped making their own potpourri on a regular basis.

I think it's called that because of the many petals and the way they're arranged. Reminds me of a real brassica that's sold as a houseplant here; don't know if you can eat that one!

What a lovely picture I do love pinks and blues together then add a little lavender and the mixture, for me, would be perfect.
I am sorry to say that my legs continue to be infected and I am still living on antibiotics.Prof wants to get me in to hospital and do grafts again but cannot while they are so dirty. I will see him again in a couple of weeks and see what he says then.
Father God, be with those who this nght will be in pain, give patience to those who watch over the sick and bless all who prayfor friends and strangers. Hugs for all wetheer you want them or not. Goodnight.

Barbaranne, what is causing the infections?
