Very true quote about women, aussie. I still have a couple of quilts my grandmother made. They're about 100 years old now and obviously, we don't use them! It's only in about the past 50 years that women have been able to leave a mark in history.
I bought some of that in lavendar and white from our local thrift store. Will make nice jammies.
This was a hectic day. Didn't get to water the yard until after supper only to discover the deer are back and ate most of the buds off my daylilies. So frustrating. And I know they spend the night because the wildflower beds have big "nests" mashed into them.
There's something else getting under the fencing and making mashed down paths through those flowers. I may have to give up on gardening.
