Beautiful animals!

Cute little guys...but they will get bigger, much bigger....

Cheetahs have such a difficult life as young cubs - lions like to kill them in order to cut down on their competition for food. Cheetahs don't live in family groups like lions either, making them much more vulnerable. When they're this size, they're not the fast animals that their parents are.

They are my favorite big cat. I not a cat person, but I love these animals. So majestic on the plains.

I've recently heard that cheetas are very companionable with dogs.
