Hi Hockeyfan,
Yes, someone whistled to her and said, "Hey little filly, ya' come here often? " Sorry I'm so late replying, but I'm finally getting to this puzzle. :)

Hi tomandray,
Good to hear from you. I've been back and forth with puzzling and facebook. Can't seem to concentrate on any one thing lately. Weather too nice and want to be outside all the time I guess. Trying to catch up with house work this morning. My friend from FL returned home. We had so much to catch up on. She was here for a month. Take care. Hugs.

Oh my, a month! That's a lot of talking! :)) Yes, the weather has been wonderful this past week, weekend and Monday. We went to the beach on Monday and brought a pic-nick basket dinner with us. Went in the water, nice and warm. The sand was so soft under foot. I was looking for fish, but didn't see any. I asked a fellow where all the fish were? They were in the deeper tide and tide was going out. So good to hear from you. Did you get my e-mails? Take care and be well.

Hey Hockeyfan, you alive? Busy gardening? Are you near Fenton Glass? Love their artistic glass, beautiful. :) Let me know how you are doing. :)

Yes I am very much alive. Been working in my one little flower garden. Yes I am about seven blocks from Fenton Glass. Most my family on my Mothers side worked there on and off. They are closed now. No more Fentons. Their glass work is beautiful. Such a shame the younger generation didn't carry it on. My Mom graduated with Mr Frank Fenton. On their 50th class reunion he gave all a signed glass slipper from him. I have it. I am doing better. Off the blood thinner for now till I start having A-Fib again. Hope I don't. Hope you and Tom are doing good. :)

Hi Hockeyfan! Good to hear you doing better. Fenton glass is beautiful, a nice keepsake from one of the original glassmakers. :) Take good care of it. My "flower" garden has just about died out. Much to hot on the patio for flowers. The cactus is thriving! :)) On the back patio, my cornplant is doing very well, in the shade. :) We have a resident little toad that is occupying the center stalk. Looks happy to be there. That's it with my flower garden. All my yellow flowers have died. Temps are in the 90's on the front patio, full sun. Not a good place to sit and read anymore.
Take care Hockeyfan and have a wonderful Mother's Day. :)

Hi tomandray. I so enjoyed your card. It made my day I didn't and won't hear from my son my only child It's been a rough day for me. Will be glad when it's over. Hope your day was a grand one. It's been near 90 everyday this week. Wednesday is to be a little cooler. Way too hot here for this time of year. Hugs

Hi Hockeyfan, We really didn't do anything. All my little "fur-girls" are gone now. So don't really feel like celebrating. It was just another day for me. Did a load of towels. Didn't go anywhere. Did get to talk to my girlfriend, she has two kids, they don't talk to her. They have problems, lying, backstabbing, selfishness and narcissism. :( The oldest has been that way since birth. The second one "turned to the dark side". Both are self-involved brats in their 20's. I believe in Karma, she'll get them. :) I did get to talk to our Aunt, she's 88 and doing well. She heard from her sons and she got to go out for lunch. :)
Well, we have had such hot temps and quite a few storms, thunder, lighting. It has not been pleasant. Have not gone to the beach at all this week. Sunday, it is supposed to be nice, so they say. That's it for now. Keep well and stay cool. Hugs...
