It wasn't as hard as I imagined and I love all the colors! I had my knee surgery on Wednesday and the pain isn't as bad as I thought it would be.....thank you, God. I'm able to hobble around without the walker and can stand and sit for short periods. I see the doctor in a week and then comes the fun part.....physical therapy....o joy! Have a wonderful blessed day, everyone!
Nborchardt --- I had a knee replacement, followed by physical therapy --- in the hospital, at home and then (when I could drive) at a therapy center. After about two weeks I remember walking down the hall to leave and feeling like a new person. The knee felt wonderful! May it be so for you!

The physical therapy may be hard, but it makes all the difference in the world on how well your new knee works in the future. I'm pulling for you!

Hi nborchardt! So good to hear you did well in knee surgery. I had a total knee replacement in May. When you go to pt make sure you practice your stretching exercises they give you!! Oh my, you would not believe how fast your knee gets stiff when you "take a break" from doing what they tell you!! It is painful to stretch but well worth it in the end result!! Yes, I went back to my exercises lol Good luck and God bless you! :)

Sorry I didn't make the surgery clearer. I didn't have a knee replacement. I had a torn meniscus in my knee that he took out and then scraped extra bone from my knee due to arthritis. I thank all of you for your good wishes for my recovery, but I didn't have to have knee replacement....yet!
I can't chew HARD candy now. I used to when I was a LOT younger, but age takes a LOT of ability away from you, even in candies. I can still do Hershey chocolate candy bars. Yummmy!!!
