I spent a month for 5 summers in Evanston taking classes at GET Seminary and would often ride the El down to Chicago to go to church or sight-see. I love Chicago.
My remembrance of Chicago is the airport. I arrived for a connecting flight. It was on the other end of the building. This was during your Thanksgiving Day so there was nobody around. I didn't know about the airport subway so basically ran the whole way and arrived gasping...just in time! On the way back, all kinds of folk. No problem getting around, even went on the airport subway with lots of time for my flight. Memories!
My cousin is in Chicago right now visiting her family. She says it's very cold there. She moved to Orlando area last year and loves it here. I lived here until I was 10 years old--then Massachusetts and now Florida.
