Cliffs on a River Jigsaw Puzzle

I've never been to Canada or Washington state but when I saw this picture one of those places was my guess.
Tony and I love to travel and have been on some wonderful trips; memories to cherish.
Pixipixil, thank you for keeping us appraised of your BIL's condition. I'm sorry to hear he is in a coma but being in hospice is good. We had hospice come in when my mom passed away and they are a blessing.

Thank you trynfindit and aknan. They removed the breathing apparatus and he is breathing on his own at 85% capacity which is good I think. What this might mean in terms of what happens next I don't know. On the last scan we were told the damage had stopped increasing so it is conceivable the damage has not been enough to cause his death but he may never wake up.
My mom was in hospice also. The people htere are wonderful but often under staffed and have to work with less equipment and supplies than they need.

Prayers continue pixipixil.

My brother died peacefully at 7 pm last night.

Thank you so much Aknan and Becky. On top of that I heard from my sister in law and one of my husband's brothers also just died. He had lung cancer and at first, after his operation, the scans said he was clear but it metaticized not much later.
I was not close to him. We had kept a distance because he was always trying to talk relatives into giving him money to develop some idea he had which never panned out.

Thank you aknan and becky. Because both my brother and brother in law lived at great distance from me for many years I can sometimes forget they are no longer alive. Having anyone die who has been a part of one's life, tho, can make reality seem a bit "thin."

I agree with you Q2...beautiful scenery. I would love to take a water raft or canoe down that river.
