I personally don't use pencils around the house. We have a few yellow pencil stubs in a basket with some small note paper next to the computers at the library where I work. However, trying to sharpen those small guys are not easy. LOL
More good news to share. My daughter and Father-in-Law are moving from Pa.to Va. to be closer to me. They have a trailer 15 minutes from mine. Dad is 90 and he is in very poor health. He is not expected to live out another year. I just hope this move will help to improve his health a little. This way, y daughter will be close to her mama and her two aunts whom she dearly loves. I just pray for dad that he will be ok as this is over an 8-hour trip and he is on oxygen.
Mamag such good news, I am so happy for you. Sorry I haven't written lately, but promise I will soon. So glad that your daughter and Dad will be close, I know this will be a good thing for all of you to be closer, especially you. I think as long as your father in law doesn't push it too much he should be ok and it will take time for them both to get settled. That might keep you busier and maybe ease your mind about father in laws health and I'm sure both you and your daughter could use help from each other. Take care and be safe.

Thank you darambo. My daughter and I are doing well together. Dad is actually trying to do more walking. He hangs on the back of his wheelchair and pushes it from one room to another. And when he gets tired he can sit down on it. We are trying to get him a walker with a seat.

Mamag those type of walkers are wonderful. I had to use one after hip and back surgery, so nice to be able to get some exercise and then sit down. Luckily I didn't have to buy the walker, it belonged to Ed's grandmother and it was kept in the family just in case someone else needed it and when I got done with it, it was once again kept for the families use. I think he will be happier with the walker, much easier to get around with it and he will get more walking done. Be safe my friend
Aussie thank you for passing along this glorious news, God be praised indeed!!! What wonderful, wonderful news. Ed got his appointment dates mixed up, it's not until next week, instead of yesterday. Think I am getting my act together and can be more help to Ed now. Prayers surely do work. My mother in law shocked us, she called and insisted we all go with Ed when he took her for her check up after cataract surgery and she took us out for breakfast, was so surprised She never asks us out, and we don't get to go out very much....can't afford to, so it was special and so appreciated. All be safe and thanks again Aussie for passing along such great news.

So happy for her. I have a high school classmate that had pancreatic cancer and they cured that. Doing great things as far as cancer is concerned. God bless them.
