Jamp I was thinking that very same thing. The colors are vivid and I love the pattern. Still snowing off and on, it actually warmed up enough yesterday that the snow turned to rain for a short time. My sister called yesterday from Redding, California and said they had gotten quite a bit of snow and the power was out. Luckily the heater and stove at Mom's is gas so they can stay warm and cook at least. Unusual for them to get snow, let alone so much of it. I'm surprised our power hasn't gone out with the wind as bad as it has been and all the trees and branches that are down. The only thing we keep losing is the internet. This is becoming a habit the two of us being the first on in the morning. Take care and be safe.

My granddaughter is also in Redding, CA. She was amazed at the snow. From the picture she showed us my son-in-law estimated 6-7 inches. She had been thinking about coming home to Ukiah that day but Interstate 5 was closed somewhere between there and here. Takes a lot of unusual weather to close an interstate. Unless, of course, it is Interstate 80 going into Reno and Lake Tahoe from CA. But then, lots of snow is not unusual weather on that road.

Hi guys, Im in Washington state and we have been hammered with the white stuff.But good for our snow pack. Still snow predicted for the rest of the week.

Jan how are you doing now? Glad to get a little info from up your way. I have relatives in Washington, nice to know you are all surviving lol ;-) I'm in central Oregon, in the Cascades about 35 miles from Bend. This has been one bad storm as large as it is!! Nlbuchanan thanks for the info about Redding, my sister couldn't make an estimate as to the amount of snow. WOW can't believe they got so much snow and for I 5 to be closed is almost unheard of. Like you said I 80 is closed almost every winter because of the snow. Both of you and everyone else in the range of this storm take it easy and be safe.
Hey Taffi, hope all is well with you. Is something going on in your life that is taking your interest away? Or were never overly passionate about jigsaws as I am? I can't get enough of them. I am doing jigsaws on one site or another all day long.Including many mystery puzzles right here on C4J.
