Ahhhh mpitt, the beauty of the seasons. Something good in all of them. I don't mind the heat it is the humidity that wears me down. However, having said that, where I live we usually have good weather all year and not much need for sweaters, so shouldn't complain. Hugs.

We are in the rain here in Nor Cal. Flooding all around me. My sister lives right next to a lake and we are concerned about her possibly having to evacuate. She's about 20 minutes away from me and I am high and dry. My other two sisters live within a block of me and my children are on higher ground also so it is only the one sister I am really concerned about. And she and her husband are the ones in the worst health, also. We have been in a drought for a number of years. I don't think that will be a problem this year!

Nlbuchanan - Stay Safe...Have been watching the weather & yes you need the rain, but not all at once.

My son is in an area very near me but lower and closer to the river that is expected to flood tonight. He is pulling his camp trailer to higher ground to be ready in case he needs to evacuate his home. My sister by the lake is not in as much danger of flooding now as she was earlier. The lake has gone down some while the river on our side of the "hill" is now getting all the water.

My hubby is from nor cal. he wants to not only go back but move back. I've been to Cali. but never lived there. I do have family over there.

I've lived in many other parts of the U.S. having been married to a military man but there's no place like home.

Yeah I've lived 4 different states and travelled all over the U.S.
