We used to go camping. Love cooking over a campfire. One campsite we had (in the Okeefenokee Swamp Park) was next to a 'deer run' and in the morning we would watch a dozen or so deer run from the woodsy area down to the water, then watch them run back up into the woods. At a 'primitive' campsite in West Virginia we woke up to 41degree temps and a huge bear footprint within 2 feet of our tent. Never have camped in the snow though. lol

I loved to go camping. I now stay in a rustic cabin when I visit my old neighborhood back in PA. Nothing like the sound of a crackling fire and listening to the sounds of nature.

Having lived in a tent for 4 years, camping, whether in the snow or not, holds little appeal to me now.

How come you lived in a tent for 4 years aknan? I hope I'm not being rude by asking.
You're not rude, trynfindit - 1970 - my first husband (military) tried to kill me, and since that wasn't in my life plan, I ran. We lived in Germany, so I took my dog, a knapsack, his (army issued) pup tent and sleeping bag and spent the next 4 years enjoying Europe. My dog, a long haired dachshund, was with me sometimes, although in winter she stayed with a friend. I generally traveled alone, but occasionally, a girlfriend joined me. I would not trade those memories for anything.
Well, I have never gone camping, and I know that camping in the snow is nonexistent to me, but this does look cozy for those who are brave! Nice puzzle, C4J staff.....Thanks! Have a lovely day, all, and may your blessings be the blanket around your heart.
We used to go camping at a campsite. Nothing rugged. They gave you a spot with a grill. Had showers. Just over the burm was the ocean. Sam put up a tent for the 4 boys and we slept in the van. It was a lot of fun.
Really late doing these puzzles today, but at least they will be done. Not sure I would want to be drinking something outside in the cold weather.
