My husband, Gary since 27 years old has been blind in left eye, hardly see out the right eye and I taught him to crochet. Now 71 and he is still crocheting and loves doing it. Keeps his mind sharp.

It seems to me that a parson assists in tying lots of knots!

Blind stitches only, just kidding. Gary just uses one single stitch but some of the things he makes are beautiful. He sells them at our home town celebration each year. He is more upset with his hearing loss. When he found out his eyesight, he was angry for a day. Then thankful he still had some sight. He is even in the medical books as the youngest person with the type of Glaucoma he has. God is so good. We are blessed.
My mother liked to crochet. There was a pineapple pattern she struggled to master for years and finally did. I know how to crochet but can't manage to keep the size of the loops consistent so I don't try to do it any more.
Wishing you a creative day.
The first thing I knitted--with the help of my mother--was a red cable-knit sweater. I have knitted many things but not anymore! Have never crocheted. My grandmother made some beautiful crocheted things. Not an easy puzzle. Going to get hair done now. Have a great day!
Wishing you a creative day.
I liked it and and also enjoyed lots of crocheting I did.
thank you.
