Reminds me of one of my childhood pets, a dachshund named Lily. She was a sweetie. We both were very young when my mom purchased a "guest home" -- what was then a board and care for the elderly, and that's where we both grew up. The elders who loved animals would always save treats for her, and she put on a lot of weight in the 10 years she lived. Should have been longer, but the weight was a determining factor in her health.
Seeing this puzzle reminds me of a joke, too. Why did the cowboy want a dachshund? Because he always wanted to get a long little doggie. (C'ya 'round the puzzles! )
Looks like a VERY WELL-DISCIPLINED dog!!!! There's one like that at my building, as well. A FORMER resident had "his" with that same description. I really enjoyed my moments with either of them.
We still have our little Mac, also a mini dachshund.
Mini dachshunds are wonderful little dogs; loving and funny. I must laugh more than a dozen times a day at Mac's little antics and looks.
