I prefer red cherry tomatoes and large red tomatoes. Any others I have tried are not as flavorful. The plum coored one in the picture looks anemic, as does the yellow one.
Beautiful tomatoes! I love fresh tomatoes right from the garden, but since I am not a gardener, I am finding the I also like tomatoes from the store! Have a fabulous day and may it be filled with kindnesses, both received and given.
When we lived in Indiana, my mom had a wonderful vegetable garden. When one of my brothers was missing, she would always find him in the tomato patch, munching as fast as he could! He must have been about 5 at the time. I think it's interesting that some people like salt and pepper on them, or sugar. I've learned to like them plain. Oh, and my Dad once told me that the tomatoes in the stores here in Arizona were the same size as the ones they threw away in Indiana! lol Watermelons were the same.

Love both your quotes. Hope you are doing OK now. I'm holding my own. Birthday next month--83!

I love both the quotes. I can relate because when I was sixty, I was completing my "Plus 30" degree. I had my Bachelors in Education and a Master's in Education Leadership, but I wanted that Plus 30 to complete my education. I was willing to take that risk even though my son kept telling me why bother because you will be retiring, soon. He could not understand it was something I wanted for my own satisfaction. Knowledge is important and also limited. Knowledge is not as important as one's imaginations as the quote implies, that an artist can draw freely with their imagination. I love it!
