We have an above ground pool. When our min pin was younger Sam would be in the pool and push a raft to the edge and he would jump on it and climb to the head part so he wouldn't get wet and Sam would push him around. He loved it but had no interest to be in the water. He was so cute.
Reminds me of our golden and pool. If someone didn't throw the ball into the water, she would toss it in herself. She was also known to bump kids into the water. And she ate the avocados that fell from our tree.
