According to Mr Google Pitaya also known as the Dragon Fruit, the Pitaya is a stunningly beautiful fruit with an intense colour and shape, magnificent flowers and a delicious taste. Once only seen in the finest restaurants it is fast becoming common-place throughout Australia as a garnish and a delicious fresh fruit. To eat the fruit serve chilled and cut in half. Scoop out the flesh and seeds much like a kiwi fruit. Hugs

Thanks for the info. I have never been to Australia but dreamed of diving the Great Barrier Reef when I was younger. Money, however, kept me from doing that. Next chance you get, drink some for me.

Never tried the drink, just ate the fruit. I am an armchair traveller now having done a lot of travelling when younger. There are two places I would like to see before I die and that is Ireland and Alaska. Not possible at this stage, so just read and watch documentaries whenever possible. Hugs.

Alaska is wonderful. Never been to Ireland. I did a lot of traveling when I retired but I am definitely now a computer traveler! Have learned much by way of the computer.
I viewed a documentary about dragons, which apparently did exist. They needed to eat before being able to produce their fire. A long, winter hibernation rendered the dragon harmless in the early spring.
looks good
