The blue looks like Fey. The red is Hey. With the fey, I'm not sure if it reads here or there. The letters on the dreidels spell 'Nes Gadol Haya Sham' means 'A great miracle happened there.'
OK puzzle. Went to Legoland in Florida yesterday with most of the family--about 18 of us! 3 of us used motorized carts for which I was very thankful. Went to bed early last night--exhausted!
Interesting things - what does one do with them. Back again - yesterday thought I was going to end up in hospital with pneumonia. But thanks to the power of prayer, I had a reasonable night and woke up feeling much better this morning. Still have bronchitis, but have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, so hopefully he can help with that. Thank you to all who prayed.

Please pray for the family of a nine year old boy who was struck by a drunk driver and the family has had to turn off his life support after three days. They were out walking looking at the Christmas lights. They said they believe in the power of forgiveness. May God give them strength to cope with their loss and to forgive the driver who was three times over the limited.
Treasure your loved ones. Take care and God bless.

Forgot to answer about the dreidels. The get spun like a top. Each side has a different symbol and the person spinning has to do what symbol comes up. Two are put and take but I forget the other two. You only use one top I think. I'm not Jewish so I'm fuzzy on the details.

I'm so glad you're on the mend. Keep doing whatever you're doing, it seems to be working. I'll be praying for this precious family.

I'm glad that you're seeing a doctor, but how horrible for that family! That takes a lot of alcohol to get a blood level that high. I'm sure that back in my drinking days, I probably hit that level at times, but, those days are long past. Fortunately, I never had an accident while drinking, but, at times, I probably could have easily had one.

Omg! Aussie - hope you feel better really soon! I've had bronchitis. I remember that you can't sleep. Hope you're not contagious! Feel so sorry for this family. I wouldn't have driven if I was that drunk. Went out with friends one night and had a drink. Ended up drinking a few more. I walked by to the office and was going to drive. Realized I wasn't in any condition to drive and got out of the car and went inside to the office. As a resident of this state, I'm embarrased on what a judge did here. Drunk driver with 21 convictions and nothing! Ugh!

Aussie, I am so happy you are going to be ok! I hope things go will at the doctor's office. I have have asthma and the constantly changing weather is playing havoc with my lungs so I understand. I am praying for the family that lost their son. It is a hard thing to deal with during the holidays. God bless them with his comfort.
You don't sound stupid at all. Unless we are exposed to a custom we don't always know what it's about.
From the internet: A dreidel is a four-sided spinning top with a Hebrew letter on each side. It is used during Hanukkah to play a popular children's game that involves spinning the dreidel and betting on which Hebrew letter will be showing when the dreidel stops spinning. Children usually play for a pot of gelt, which are chocolate coins covered in gold colored tin foil."
