Love Stockholm and their streets. Have been there. Also spent 2 weeks with my sister in Sweden trying to find out about our ancestors--both sides of the family. Found my grandfathers elementary school and the cemetary where his parents and sister were burried. Also saw the original books where they were listed. Found that at the church next to the cemetary. Loved that trip.
When I was a kid in the early 50's there was much less litter and filth on the streets. I think that was because children were taught to respect the property of others. As they grew, they continued this attitude, and took pride in keeping their own areas neat. The huge increase in packaging that comes with consumer products has contributed to modern day clutter and litter. Just put litter in your pocket until a trash can is spotted.
