Good morning to all! To those Americans celebrating Thanksgiving, do you have everything you need for dinner? Or are you like me and have to run to the store for a couple last minute things you forgot? One year my sister and I did shopping for the entire meal (minus turkey) the night before T-Day at around midnight. The awesome part was we had the whole store to ourselves, maybe just a couple other customers. And of course the downside was we didn't sleep until AFTER the dinner was made an eaten, late afternoon the next day...needless to say, we never tried that again!
It's been ages since I cooked for Thanksgiving. My husband started taking us out to dinner after it becams too difficult to have our son to our home. We took him with us--actually he'd meet us. Not always nice. Often he'd be an hour late or show up filthy.
It's only my husband and I now and we still go out. Without family it isn't like thanksgiving to me. What's left of us is scattered to the wind. Sounds like you have enough family to still enjoy it. Have a blessed and wonderful day kjd. Regards to your sister.

I was having a chat with someone the other day, and we were talking about how traditions change over the years. Doesn't mean we don't celebrate, it's just time changes how we do it. I'll be at my sister's with her grown children and their children. About 12-13 of us!
I did this in the 60 piece wavy cut and the pieces of the water at the top looked so wavy by themselves it was like looking directly into the water instead of into a picture. Amazing!
The water part of the puzzle was a challenge!

God bless you all.
